DJ/Producer | Deep/Tech House DJ NubY. My real name is Ibrahim Hassan and I was born in Cairo 1980. This is where I spent my childhood, but originally, I am coming from Aswan, a place called Nubian Village, in the very south of Egypt. I grew up with music as my father is a composer, singer and a professional oud teacher. In 2009, I moved to switzerland. In my early twenties, I was into hip hop R&B and Old School, and by clubbing around, I got to know deep house which became my favourite. So I started to produce my own music. I have always been inspired by the spirit of the Nubian folks and with my music, I want to transmit peace, respect and tolerance.
